I have been holding classes in my studio near Cocoa, Florida since July 2005. Access from I-95 is easy, via exit #202. You can find my contact information here.
The course offerings are being re-organized to provide more structure to the study and practice of Qigong and Tai Chi (taijiquan). New students are expected to attend an orientation session and before enrolling in a course. Current and returning students are not required to attend the orientation but may attend one if they wish. The fee for the orientation session will be applied to the course fee upon enrollment. Course offerings are listed for a variety of topics. Courses begin quarterly and class sessions will be held twice a week for eight consecutive weeks. We also attempt to accommodate those with irregular schedules. The remaining weeks of the quarter will be used for individual evaluations and orientation sessions for the upcoming quarter. In addition, we will allow for per-session training by appointment, either at regular class sessions or in private sessions. Although we offer more than twenty separate courses, the actual schedule for each quarter will depend on demand. Classes not in demand will not appear on the final schedule for the quarter. If you are interested in a particular course, make sure you call us to schedule your orientation early so you can secure your place in the course you want. |
I am associated with three organizations, both national and international. Each of these organizations offers Qigong training and provides a list of certified teachers. I encourage you to visit these websites.
I have been certified by each of these organizations as an instructor. I teach various styles of Qigong and Tai Chi for health and fitness. I have students whose ages range from their 20's into their 80's. Every one of them has had success improving their overall health and overcoming physical challenges. Some of their testimonials are posted for your review.
Traditionally, both Qigong and Tai Chi practices are described in poetry. Well loved Qigong practices are given poetic names that evoke their purpose. Tai Chi practices are also described using poetic imagery put together in a way that guides the student through the forms sets. Here is some poetry that I hope will convey the beauty and serenity of these disciplines.
