What I charge for Qigong lessons

Here is a description of my rates:

1. The first lesson is by appointment. It is a combined interview and introduction to Qigong. It is always free and entails no obligation.

2. You can choose either to join a regular scheduled group class, or to take private lessons.

3. In any week:
   • If you cannot attend your regular class session, please call and let me know.
   • If you wish to attend a class at a different time than your regular session, please call to make arrangements.

4. Before attending your first regular class, you must sign and submit a Training Agreement and make the initial payment as described below.

5. For regular (group) classes, payment is on a per-calendar quarter basis. This means that you pay for three months in advance.
   More detail:
   • If you join a group class in the first two months of a calendar quarter, your first payment is for three months. Then, at the beginning of the next calendar quarter, your second payment is pro-rated by the number of weeks remaining in the quarter when you joined. You also have the option of paying for both the remainder of the current quarter and all of the next quarter up-front.
   • If you join a group class in the last month of a calendar quarter, your first payment will be for the following quarter plus an amount pro-rated for the number of weeks remaining in the current quarter.

6. Discounts are available in the following circumstances:
   • The discount for pre-payment of one full year starting in any quarter is 10%.

   • The discount for introducing (sponsoring) a new student is the equivalent of one month off from your next payment.

   • Immediate family of a current, paying student is entitled to a 10% discount.

   • These discounts apply in any combination.

7. Other discounts or payment arrangements may be available in special circumstances.

8. Private lessons can be arranged when mutually convenient. The fee for each private lesson is one third of the current base (quarterly) rate for group lessons.

9. The current base rate for group lessons is $150 per calendar quarter (equivalant to $50 per month). This rate is guaranteed to new students for one year.

Other Qigong organizations with which I am associated (listed on the website home page) will occasionally sponsor functions. These other organizations have their own rates and payment policies. They may or may not offer discounts based on being a current paying student at my studio.
